Getting your wife back can be an extremely difficult task no matter what your situation

. Let's face it, marriage is extremely complicated. It's hard enough to get through this life on your own let alone with a wife and kids in tow. Normal rules no longer apply to a couple once they have gone through a marriage, not to mention a divorce. There are some key factors that must be considered when trying to get your ex wife back.

One: Understanding Where Things Stand

Did you cheat? Or was she just unhappy? What was the leading cause of the split? Of course there are two sides to every story and it's possible that it's not all your fault. When it comes to dealing with women however that fact is irrelevant. If you really want her back you have to learn to forget all of that. Let her be right, it will make your whole life better, I promise. There is nothing wrong with quietly knowing you are right and keeping it to yourself. Most importantly though you need to fully understand what happened and where you stand with her. Think about the things that have happened over the years and figure out where it went wrong. Then think about what you could (or would given the opportunity) have done differently.

Two: Make a plan

Use the information you have to formulate a plan to do things differently if and when you do get back together. Set some goals for yourself and stick to them. You are going to need to be able to show her that you understand the problems and have actionable solutions that you have already been putting to use. She doesn't want to hear that you are sorry and will never do it again. You have to SHOW her the change, which brings me to the next step.

Three: Take Action

Start making an effort in all area's of your life that you know need improvement. Hit the gym, pay your bills, quit smoking, etc. Do something that will stand out and be noticeable, something you know she cares about. Getting your wife back is about taking action in your life, showing her that you can be the man she knows you can be. The man she married and agreed to spend here whole life with. If she has spent any amount of time with you she knows your talk and if she left you it's probably because you weren't showing her the walk. Take back control by taking action.

Most importantly you have to avoid making any more mistakes that can cause any further damage. At this point one wrong move can close the door forever and you don't want that to happen.
