How to Lose Stomach Fat - For Women At Home


While it's nice to have access to a modern gym with all the fitness equipment you can imagine, not everyone has the time to get out of the house 3-4 times each week and to head on over to the gym. The good news is that you don't really have to. You can lose stomach fat at home if you know how to do home workouts and to eat right. It's entirely possible.

Workouts

To get a flat stomach at home you will need to be able to do home workouts. Some equipment that I recommend that you get includes: a stability ball, a set of dummbells, jump rope, and an aerobic step. Here's how you will use these products:


Stability ball: You will do crunches and all sorts of other belly exercises with your stability ball. Other belly exercises require nothing but the floor, but I recommend supplementing them with stability ball exercises as they can prove to be more strenuous. You will also use the stability ball with your dumbbells to perform upper body exercises such as chest presses.

Dumbbells: To keep your upper body in shape, you will need dumbbells. Whether it is to work the biceps and triceps or the back and chest, you need to get in total shape to really flatten your stomach. Without dumbbells, this may be harder. You can do a lot of body weight workouts that can get you to your goal but if you can afford dumbbells, I highly recommend using them.

Aerobic step and jumping rope: These are used to do cardio workouts at home to burn more calories and fat. You don't have to get both the step and the rope but having them will allow you to have more variation in your workouts.

I recommend doing 3--4 full body strength workouts and a cardio session each week.

Nutrition

You can't get a flat belly at home without adhering to proper nutrition. Here are some tips:

1. Clear your kitchen of all tempting food that you find hard to resist. Just get rid of it or keep it in small amounts. You can still indulge in some fattening food once a week but don't allow that to ruin it for you.

2. Stock up in fruits and veggies. These are your new snacks. Eat them when you like.

3. Eat a good breakfast with lots of fiber and protein and small meals throughout your day. Don't ever stuff yourself or eat big meals.

4. Avoid processed foods. Eat as fresh as possible.

5. Avoid sugary drinks and sodas. Go for water and tea as your choice of beverages.
