How to Make Gold in WoW - Getting the Most Gold From Daily Quests

Once you reach level 80 in WoW, you will probably find yourself doing daily quests. Daily quests reward you with faction that allows you to purchase powerful items, enchants and epic mounts from special faction vendors. A secondary benefit to daily quests is that they reward you with gold. At level 80, you will also receive additional gold instead of the experience you would earn at a lower level.

Now, it is my belief that as a pure gold making tactic, there are better methods that you can be using. But if you need to grind faction and tokens, you should take steps to ensure that you are doing daily quests that will net you the most gold too. You should also look at whether you can gather profitable items while you complete the quests. For example, Storm Peaks and Icecrown quests will net you a lot of profitable ores you can mine as you are questing. Sholozar Basin quests are great for skinners due to the large numbers of beasts in the area. Look for daily quests that you can do quickly as these will get you the most gold over time.

Some of the easiest and fastest daily quests to complete are those for the Oracles in Sholazar Basin and those for the Sons of Hodir in Storm Peaks. These are great sets of quests to do because they can be completed quickly, resulting in higher earnings per hour. Sons of Hodir are doubly useful, becase they are the providers of shoulder enchants in WOTLK. These start becoming available at Honored reputation. You can also get the Ice Mammoth epic ground mount at Revered.

To complete dailies for the Oracles, you will need to have chosen this faction over the Frenzyhearts during the main quest line in Shlozar Basin. During the final quest 'A Hero's Burden', you will need to select which prisoner to save, the Frenzyheart or the Oracle. Save the Oracle to do dailies for that faction. If you want to switch factions, simply kill Artuis the Heartless again and save the other prisoner. There is an achievement, 'Mercenary of Sholazar', available for reaching Exalted with both Oracles and Frenzyhearts. Frenzyheart quests are also quite easy and can earn you plenty of gold.

Icecrown dailies can also be quite profitable but can be more time consuming than the Sons of Hodir and Oracles quests. Remember that you can complete 25 dailies each day, including cooking and fishing dailies, both of which wiil reward gold themselves and allow you to create items that sell well on the auction house, such as high level foods. This is another way that doing daily quests can make gold in WoW.
