Analyze your relationship

Have you really been dating long enough? Many women need little time to come to the conclusion that he is the one. However, he's still trying to work through all the emotions he feels. So make sure you've giving your relationship a fair amount of time to grow and evolve before you start to consider a commitment. If you're trying to move too fast, you risk pushing him out of the relationship entirely.

During this time of growth, make sure that he's seeing the bright future of this relationship. Avoid trying to take over and becoming to controlling. Men can quickly get jittery if they see that the woman is trying to manage everything about the relationship and about his life.

Some women fall so automatically into this pattern that they don't even realize it. They start to offer comments and suggestions, and they barely notice that the guy isn't really receptive. Think carefully about what you're telling him and ensure that you're not overstepping any boundaries.

Let him see the bright future he can have with you. And then consider returning to much of what you had going on in your life before you met him. If you can keep yourself busy enough, and away from him enough, you'll get him thinking.

For sure he'll start to miss you and wonder where you're off to all the time. But if you're away enough, he might even wake up and realize that he might be losing you and the great future you're offering him. This will trigger his desire to make you his and that means finally coming to the conclusion that it's time he made a commitment to you.
