Often overlooked free advertising sites like Craigslist are a sellers dream. Thousands of buyers flock to these sites looking for deals on anything. Whether your promoting a site or selling a product or service, you cannot afford to overlook these free marketing locations.

What some people fail to realize it that you don't need money to make money. Craigslist and other free advertising sites have been around for years yet many people fail to use it to it's full potential.

Step 1: Get free ads. Free ads run for about 45 days more or less depending on the section. Whether you want to outsource an article or sell merchandise or promote your site you can do it here.

Step 2: If you want to sell something, like a bicycle or a site membership. Offer a time incentive or money incentive. Tell them if they act before a certain date they can have it at a discount. This is good for bulk sales, especially if you are trying to promote something fast. Also, offer a coupon. This is great for earning affiliate dollars and making money. If they enter in your code they will get the product or service cheaper and you get the commission.

Step 3: Give away something free. Anything free will do, free merchandise, free tips, free websitesubscriptions etc. Of course, this depends on what you are selling or promoting. If you are promoting a website giving away free tips costs you nothing. If your selling merchandise, offer to send them free offers or deals. No cost and everybody wins.

Step 4: Expand, post on other free sites and repeat steps 1-3 on Craigslist.
