Finding a hard time making rent due to buying so much stuff or spending too much on things? Whatever happens to be the case, setting your budgets is the solution.

Here are two types of budgets you might want to try out: cash and cost budgets. For example, you might want to set a cash budget of 100$/weekly and a cost budget of 50$/purchase for gadgetry.

Cash Budgets

A cash budget is a fixed maximum amount you can spend in a chosen time period. You want to set these up according to the types of purchases you make. So you could set a cash budget of 100$/week spent on groceries, 20$/week on books, 250$/3 months for gadgets etc.

Cost Budgets

A cost budget is a fixed maximum amount you can spend on things. You want to set these up to avoid spending too much on things. For example, perhaps setting a budget of about 7$/vegetables or 10$/drinks could reduce your spending. By figuring these budgets out, you can alter your buying habits and thus stop spending too much on things.

By judging your buying habits & past buying decisions, you can figure out all of the budgets needed to manage your spending. Once these have been figured out, you will be in better control of your own spending habits.
