How to paint a room - This is a good question and one asked by many people. Painting a room is not hard you just need to take it slowly until you get the hang of it. My suggestion includes using painters tape, a good drop cloth, good paint and good paint brushes. Using good products will make your job go smoother and you will end up wit h a better finish. Below are some suggestions for colors and what kind of effect they have on you and your room. 1. Yellow Calming and uplifting. Yellow is a bright feel good color aimagine it being a good color for any room in the house. I really like it for a kitchen because it is a room that is a feel good room anyhow. It will brighten up any day of the week. Yellow is also a good easy color to match accessories with.I would say that yellow may be used more than any other single color used for a kitchen. 2. Blue Soothing and calming. Blue is a very calming color. When I think of blue I think of the sky and how pretty it is on a clear day. I think blue is really a good color for bedrooms. What better place for a beautiful calming setting. When I go to my bedroom I like to find peace and blue makes me feel that. 3. Green Relaxing and peaceful. Green is noted for its relaxing and peaceful effect. I am not a real big green fan but there are so many different shades that I use it sometimes. 3 Stimulation Paint Colors 1. RED Stimulating. Red is a stimulating color that has been known to raise your adrenaline, heat rate and blood pressure. It has been said that it can even induce hunger. Well like I said I like the bold effect and my kitchen is red. I have not noticed these things but I am not saying they do not happen. I really like red it is my favorite color. 2. Orange Stimulating cheerful. I believe this to be true about orange because it is a very cheerful color. There are so many shades of orange that you should be able to pick one out that you like. One color of orange that I really like is a coral orange. It is a beautiful color for a bedroom or a bathroom. 3. Brown Happy uplifting cheerful. Brown is a perfect color for any room in your house. It is so neutral that it will match any style of furniture or accessories. There are numerous shades of brown that range from very dark to very light. Prepare you room and do some painting today. This is a cheap home decorating idea that not only is very inexpensive but most rooms can be done in a day. Paint can change the look of a room more than anything else you can do. Some designers go by a 60-30-10 split which is as follows..The primary color should comprise 60% of the space such as walls or cabinets. the secondary color should cover 30% of the space which might be the floor for example. The accent color should cover the other10%. Such as counter tops or home decor. Enjoy your home because "Your Story Begins At Home" Hi, my name is Gail Richardson.
