Sonnenbrille. If you're German, you know what this word means. If not, it is quite simply sunglasses.
That's right. Sunglasses. You may just think that they're chic and cool looking. Maybe you really don't like wearing sunglasses. Some people are like that. But there are loads of cases in which you should definitely be wearing them.
But how would you pick them out? After all, sonnenbrille are not only important for everyday outdoors tasks, but you also need them in order to make sure that you are not harming your eyes.

So you go inside and all you see is white. You now have a headache, hurting eyes, and a bunch of other problems. So you take a nap, and it's still kind of there.
After a week or so, it goes away. But, lord did that hurt! What was it?
That, my friend, was a little something called ocular sunburn. It is painful, problematic, and can seriously damage your eyes.
How can you use this knowledge to pick out sonnenbrille? Well, first of all, make sure that you note any time at all when you have ocular sunburn. Were you working in the garden? That is one of the places in which you need to watch out foryou can't wait for sunburn again. In that case you need to get a pair of sonnenbrille that not only protects the front of your eyes, but also your peripheral vision. You can find those.
Then, look at other times when you need to have your vision unimpaired. Driving is definitely one of those times. Or when you are a passenger. When you are a passenger, you may not be as affected, but you may be able to help your driver a little bit or even allow them to borrow your sunglasses if absolutely necessary.
When driving, the sun can throw you off quite badly. You may not realize it, but it could be only a matter of seconds before you happen to crash into someone because of the glare in your eyes. On the other hand, you have to also remember that not everything works out with sunglasses. Some people may find that dark sunglasses skew things to such a point that they have trouble processing what exactly they're seeing. Best idea? Look for lighter glasses so that you don't have to actually deal with the trouble of using darker ones. Find a pair of amber or green or another light colored sonnenbrille and then proceed from there.
