How to Prevent Diseases - Start Making A Health Plan!

We can prevent diseases if we do some changes to our life, but as with everything else in life, it is not enough just to know how to do it, action is needed. Even if we think we have a healthy lifestyle and diet, most of us have room for big improvements. The US health statistics is not exactly fun reading. Something must be really wrong with the American/Western lifestyle as millions of people are suffering from one or more diseases. The good thing is that you don't need to be part of that statistics.
Change to a natural and healthy lifestyle and have a happier and healthier life.
The main reason for most diseases is an unhealthy lifestyle with too much stress and a wrong diet. The benefits of a healthy lifestyle are many, it is possible to prevent diseases like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, we may even reverse these diseases if we know how. Would that not be worth a few changes in your lifestyle? I will help you get started. You will find an example of a health plan below in this article.

How to prevent diseases - find out what your goal is.
Ask yourself a few questions. What do I want from life? How would I like my life to be? "I want to be healthier, I don't want to take medicines, I want more energy, I want more time with family, I want more time in the nature..."
Start making a health plan - make it detailed - see below. The important thing to remember is that you take it slowly, take one step at a time. Lifestyle changes are not made in a week or two and they are made on many levels.And it is not all about diets and excercise - stress, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and feelings are also very important. It is a reason that you are unhealthy, overweight and unhappy.
Some important changes you should have in mind are:
Minimize, or better, eliminate the use of chemicals in your food, body and skin care products and other products that you use. Change to all natural certified organic products. Did you know that chemicals in cosmetics and other body care products end up inside your body?
Change your diet to a whole food, plant-based diet, while minimizing the consumption of refined foods, dairy products, and added salt, fats and sugar. The lover the percentage of animal-based foods that are consumed, the grater the health benefits are. Science has found this type of diet to be consistent with the greatest health and the lowest incidence of heart disease, cancer, obesity and many other western diseases (Dr. Colin Campbell - The China Study).
Stop smoking and minimize or reduce the use of alcohol.
Start with some sort of excercise, walks, yoga, football. The important thing is that you get out of the sofa and use your body.
Stress less - stress is dangerous for your health.
Be grateful for what you have and think positive. Positive thoughts are very important - we become what we think!
Make your own health plan.
Start writing down all your daily routines from you get up in the morning to you go to bed what do you have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, in the evening and what do you eat between meals? Write down smoking habits, drinking habits. How much and often do you drink coffee or eat snacks and cakes?, How many hours each day do you spend watching TV, playing computer games or surf on the Internet?.
What cosmetics, body care or other products do you use? medicines... How much/often do you use your car, how often do you shop. The list could be very long, the more detailed the easier it is to see what changes are necessary and wanted. Put everything into one column (today) and then make another with your new goals - See example below how a health plan may look like.
And remember, take it slowly make it a game, this can be really fun and interesting. Try to get the children involved. They will thank you later for having learned how to live a natural and healthy lifestyle but most important of all they will remain healthy.
Reward yourself for every new "star" you can put on the plan.
