How to Find and Download Music on Ares to Put on Your iPod

Finding music to put on your iPod from the Ares download network is easy. All you have to do is open the Ares program and click the "Search" bar. Type in the name of the song, album or artist you are looking for, select the "Audio" button to narrow your results, and click "Search."

A lengthy list of search results will pop up. You may see the files you are looking for listed more than once. Select the file which has the most users (so it downloads faster) and is in the proper format (MP3 works fine for iPods.) Highlight the files you want and hit "Download."

How to Preview Downloads and Transfer Ares Music to Your iPod

While your files are downloading, you can preview the music in the "Transfers" tab to make sure it's the right item. If it is not, simply stop the download and search again. If you've found what you're looking for, it will be listed in your Ares library once the download is complete.
