How to Use your Fitness Workout Bench for Maximum Performance

A weight bench will enable you to get the exercise you need so here are some tips on how to maximize it.
1. Do curls to build your biceps
In order for weight benches to be effective, you should also have a pair of dumbbells for more flexibility in your workouts. Start by getting into a seated position while resting your elbow on your knees. Then with a dumbbell in one hand, start by lifting it towards your chest then return to the starting position. Repeat this set several times with both hands and you will really start to feel it in your biceps.
2. Build your upper body with chest flies
For this exercise you will need to position yourself with your back on the bench and with a dumbbell in each hand. Start by spreading your arms away from your body as if you were flying. Then what you want to do is slowly raise it upwards towards the ceiling until the dumbbells gently touch each other. Then return to the starting position and repeat several times or until you get tired.
3. Work those abs
For this exercise you will actually need to make sure that your weight bench comes with a leg piece so that you can do sit ups. For this exercise you need to position your bench in a slight decline and lie flat on your back. Then as you hold a single dumbbell with both hands you want to raise your upper body so it is not touching the bench and repeat several times.
With your own fitness bench and a set of dumbbells you can really achieve your fitness goals much faster than you think. The exercises that you can perform are not only limited to the ones as described above as you can do much more. Of course, the most important thing is that you have to be consistent with your exercises for the best results.
