How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part II
What Christians claim for Christ is not the subject of this article but Jesus Christ is one of those who gave themselves to God.
Others have done the same, people who are called prophets and saints. Very few can attain the approach to God if they work hard enough to attain it.
You do not have to be a super human to do it. For within you have the divine breath, for without it you cannot even breathe nor live, you are just as good as dead, or worse.
Moses, we are told in the Scriptures was spoken to by the Eternal. Such an event, for the disbelievers in God, or religion, and there are nearly six billions of them today being part of the seven billions inhabitants of planet earth, is untrue , for there is no God for them to begin with. Moses to them is a fictional character of the ancient mythology of Jews, Christians and Muslims.
To have such an encounter with God is not at all so easy. Either that you are chosen to realize the approach or you have to do colossal efforts to make such an approach. Most believers believe in God but do not aspire to approach Him. Few among the very strong and certain believers attempt the approach. Among these are ascetics, Sufis and saints.
But if you belong to none of these categories and yearn to approach the divine you first must leave this world, in mind and in soul as well as in real aspiration. The leap to God, called escapade by the professional leapers, is only achieved by a constant and a persistent perseverance that you devote the totality of your being and the entire submission unto God.
You have to have, furthermore, an iron will to leave this world, i.e. the temptations and attractions of this life, with all its seducing and factual effects on your life. This is not at all easy for you have to survive and your feet must be solid on the ground to keep alive.
Taking away your life by suicide, as did the Solar Temple imbeciles, would result in your body annihilation and you are not certain to attain the divine in any way.
To approach, and then attain the divine, you must be alive, but leaving this world, and this life in the most of your thoughts, feelings, senses, and actions. A contradiction in terms? Not at all! It is as if you are here and not here at one and the same time. A big part of you has left this life but you are dependant physically and psychologically as well as mentally and spiritually on it.
You cannot discard objective universe and travel with your imagination to another world. This real world, objective or otherwise, is the springing-board for establishing your convictions and start your journey towards the cause of this universe. It is a journey to the centre of the universe. It is a trip to the reality of all realities.
Then attaining, if at all, such reality, all other realities, vanish and you attain the centre of reality, the only and one reality. Of course if such a hypothesis is possible on the probability level on the possibility one.
