How to deal with past failure in job interviews and move toward

Failure is a part of life. You have to remember that all skill learning is

achieved by trial and error. It's normal. Our errors, mistakes and failures

are necessary steps in the learning process. Most people get rejected in a

job interview and don't know how to manage these these negative experiences.

But there is a way to use failure to your advantage and let it contribute to

the learning process of successful job interviewing.

Number one. Identify you past mistakes in your job interviews. We have buried

in our unconscious memories of past failures, unpleasant and painful

experiences. Instead of letting it hold you back from future success,

recognize that you have made a mistake. That's all it is so be honest with

yourself.

Number two. Take corrective action. The goal is to learn from your mistakes

and take steps to correct your mistakes in the next interview. Criticizing

yourself for past mistakes and errors serve no useful purpose and can be

destructive for your present performance if you dwell on it.So, focus on

taking action.

Number three. Make a decision to consciously forget your past failure and

move on. When you do succeed (and you will) in your next job interview, this

is what you should store in your unconscious mind to repeat over and over.

The memories of past failure can't hurt you as long as you focus all your

energy on your next positive target or goal to be exceptional in your

next interview and get hired. The bottom line is this. Focus all your mental

energy on a positive goal and do not dwell on the past negative experience.

It is foolish to be believe that your failure yesterday means failure

tomorrow. So go ahead. Be calm, confident and crystal clear in your job

interview.
