provide a battery pack. Although battery packs are currently available, should you decide that you want to use one, you will

need to solder some wires in order to replace the battery in the iPhone. But, the battery pack doesn't work in the 3G and you

will have to send it to Apple. So, if your iPhone needs to have the battery replaced you can either send it to Apple battery

service or buy a do it yourself battery pack.
