How to get prepared for Cataclysm expansion!
World of Warcraft third expansion, Cataclysm, will be on live soon (rumorssay that Cataclysm expansion will be released on December). At the moment every wow player is waiting for this release, so instead of waiting and reading about release announce every day, why not toprepare yourself for the upcoming World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion?
Here are some tips how to prepare yourself and your characters for Cataclysm expansion:
1. Stop selling / farming items!
At the moment all materials are cheap and not worth to farm them. If you think that you are a pro wow economist you can stack some of them and wait after the expansion release to sell them. If you are not so good on selling (like me) just spent your time on farming gold but not materials.
2. Stack up some gold and get rid of useless items.
Try to get at least 20.000 gold (of coursethe more the best!). Having gold at the start of each expansion is critical, you can buy materials to max up your professions fast, you can get some nice gear until you start raiding, you can get yourmount skills fast etc
3. If you are a multi-role class, get a proper offspec.
If you are one of tanking or healing classes get this role in your offspec. Of course you will need to gear up so people will have a reason to pick you up for 5 mans. Becouse, believe me you dont want to join random cross-realm 5 man groups in Cataclysm beta! The instances look like to old vanila 5 mans and you need geared and focused people for a fast clear.
4. Get your achievements that are gonna disappear.
Some of the current achievements will be converted to feats ofstrengthafter the Cataclysm expansion release. Like the Zul Gurub achievements, since that raid instance will disappear!
5. Do not spend your badges until patch 4.0.1!
You canconvert them in gold or Justice points after pre-cataclysm patch release.
6. Get your alts to level 80 and try to gear them up a bit.
None wants at the start of expansion a noob geared character for his 5 man group.
7. Gather up some daily quests, complete them but not return them!
You can get a niceamount of experience after the Cataclysm release but returning them at that point. Try to have dailies from camps so you wont spent much time on traveling, in example Argent Crusade or Dalaran dailies.
8. Get a small break from playing World of Warcraft!
One week before the new expansion release date, you can take a small break of five to six days! At that period try to solve all your irl problems so when third world of warcraft expansion is released you can spend all your time on leveling and gearing up your characters!
9. Get in a guild!
If you are unguilded, try to find a guild with at least 20 active players, with guild bonuses you can level upreally fast!
