The children's park or play area is usually located on the gardens or lawns. When building homes elaborate architecture with an owner's perception in mind is put into place. This may include beautiful lush gardens, driveways and well lit walls and compounds. The home owner may have a gym, swimming pool or jogging track for recreation. This recreation may not include an area for children at home to play. The children may require an area that is safe to play with minimal supervision. This place would require several play things installed.
A children's park area is about twenty to forty five feet square. This should be located way from the quite areas of the home like bedrooms or study rooms. This should be planned before the construction of a home commences. This includes play equipment like slides, swings, tunnels, monkey bars, wendy house all on a sand pit. The construction should be done when the gardens have been set and clearly marked out. This should be located near the swimming pool if one is to be built within the garden or lawn. The reason for this is to complement the outlay of the home.
The area is marked out and any grass or vegetation removed. A short wall of about three courses is built around the marked area. It is for retaining the sand and keeping away water from flowing into the area. The swing is put on a corner to avoid collusion with a child as they oscillate. They should be concreted in the ground. The tunnels should be raised about three feet above the ground. The posts supporting it before the slide should also be concreted in the ground. A wooded stair with rails is fixed to lead into the tunnel.
