-Press the 'R' key, when the 'Welcome to Setup' message is displayed, to start the Recovery Console.
-Type 'bootcfg /list' in the command prompt and press the 'Enter' key to see the entries in the Boot.ini file.
-Type 'bootcfg /rebuild' and press the 'Enter' key to scan the system to get the list of installations and them to the boot.ini file.
-Enter 'Y' when the following message is displayed:
Total Identified Windows Installs: 1
[1] C:Windows
Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All)
-Enter the name of your operating system when you get the following message:
Enter Load Identifier
-Type '/fastdetect' and press the 'Enter' key when the following message is displayed:
Enter OS Load options
-Type 'exit' to exit the Recovery Console.
-Restart the system.
