Following step is to defend your area, do what you can to block every access, but in any case, stay put and always have an exit plan. The rules say that it's not important if the zombie was your best friend or girlfriend. Put a slug in their head, because if you don't do that, they will kill you no matter what. Be calm waiting for rescue, but start making your long term plans for survival. And one more important thing, don't get surrounded because you are dead if you do.
