PilotOne focuses on the essentials when it comes to discreet control over the hearing aids. This exclusive remote control was designed for maximum impact and ease of use. The clever simplicity and ergonomic design make it the most user-friendly remote control ever.
First Steps
I. Preparation
Use only a Phonak PilotOne that has been specially programmed for your hearing systems by your hearing care professional.
II. Locking & unlocking the remote control
Slide buttons lock(2) to lock or unlock the remote control. For operation make sure PilotOne is unlocked.
III. FlexControl / Volume change
Press "+/-"(1) to increase or decrease volume.
FlexControl personalizes the automatic system, and rather than making sounds louder or ofter, FlexControl changes many of the settings in your hearing instruments to adapt to the situation and make sounds more intelligible or more comfortable instead of just louder or softer. It is as easy to handle as a standard volume control.
IV. Selecting a Hearing Program
Use the program change button(3) to switch listening programs.
V. "Home"-Button
Push the "Home" button (4) to return to the startup hearing program and volume levels of your hearing system.
VI. Understanding the status light
With the unlocked Phonak PilotOne, the status light(7) supports you with helpful information in the following way:
When unlocking (2), the status light is lit for one second indicating that PilotOne is ready to use
As long as a button is pressed the status light is lit until the button is released again
After pressing the program (3) or home (4) button the status light will flash to indicate the selected program

All the light indications are either green or yellow color depending on the Phonak PilotOne battery status.
Green: Battery ok
Yellow: 20% left. Replace the battery
