HTC Touch was the first from HTC and it was considered as the best competitor for

Apple iPhone but it failed to stand up to the expectation as the Windows mobile UI was not as good as OS X. The other drawback HTC Touch faced when compared to Apple iPhone was the keyboard as iPhones Touchpad and the customer friendly features made it look better.

According to the HTC CFO Cheng Hui-min Touch Diamond is the most important product of the year from HTC.

This phone has many features but 3D cool interface and touch screen are the important features which takes the phone to the next step. It also has some drawbacks like subpar call quality, no room for expansion in memory, and the TouchFLO interface is new to many.

The Phone has an orientation sensor which helps to find whether the device is held vertically or horizontally and the sensor switches the orientation accordingly. The new TouchFLO makes the touch feel different and some of the features it enhances are really stunning. There is a toolbar at the bottom which enables users to launch the necessary application with a single touch and most of the programs are animated with 3D effect.

This HTC comes with a Windows Mobile 6.1 professional Edition with all the basic features like e-mail, Bluetooth, PDF reader, voice recorder, zip manager and different types of software along with Microsoft Office for mobile suite. The capacity of this HTC Touch Diamond is 4GB of internal memory with 256 MB ROM and 192 MB DDR SDRAM.

The HTC Touch Diamond looks very sleek and slim and weighs just 3.8 ounces. The phone is sculptured with the dimensions of 4 x 2 x 0.4 inches, so one can easily carry this in their pockets without any difficulty.

This HTC Touch Diamond is now available only in the UK markets with Li-ion battery, Stereo headphones, extra stylus, AC Charger, UK adapter, USB data cable and user CDs.
