Cooler months can be found in December, January and February with the lowest temperatures around the 60s.

Huatulco dry season occurs during the months of November through to April when the landscape turns a brown colour.

The Best time to visit Huatulco is from October when the weather is at it's best for enjoying all the various sporting activities around the resorts.

The rain tends to occur in the late afternoons and usually after the air feels cool and fresh giving a welcome break from the day's heat from the sun.

Humidity can be high usually during the months of June to September.

There have been no reports of hurricanes this far down in Huatulco as most of the large storm surges tend to travel to the West or north west regions well away from Huatulco.

Much of the weather in Huatulco is the same all year round so you are guaranteed to get sumshine on most days.

The water temperature during the months of May through to November averages about 28c, so it is perect for deep sea diving and other water activities.

January to March is normally the coolest water temperature at about 22c to 25c.

If you plan to go deep sea diving in Huatulco then the best time to do this is after the hurricaine or rainy season ends from middle October to Middle December when the water is calm and warm.

Fog is relatively rare in Huatulco, but does occue on occasion.

The weather causes many type of vegetation to grow in this climate like banana, papaya and coconut trees and the landscape during the wet season looks very lush cascading down to the clear blue waters below.
