Hyundai Motors India ltd launched its most renowned premium hatchback named as Hyundai
i20 in Indian auto segment and has been getting overwhelming response for the hatchback. Since its launch in India car got great response from car buyers and able to attract huge volume of crowd. The car comes great in style and adorns various smart features which stand it unique among other luxury hatchback in India. The car exterior comes with stunning looks and ingredients yet not compromising on the quality features. The car comes loaded with an array of smart features, which makes it more fascinating and lovable in Indian car segment. It is the first small car in hatchback segment of Indian cars to adorn six speed manual transmission gearbox.
Hyundai i20 is available in eight different variants in petrol version and six different variants of diesel version. The petrol Models of the car are Hyundai i20 1.4 Asta (AT) with four speed automatic transmission gearbox, Hyundai i20 1.4 Asta AT (O) with Sunroof, Hyundai i20 Asta which includes various smart features like Dual Front Airbags, Passenger Airbag On/Off Switch, Front Fog Lamps, ABS with EBD. The other variants are Hyundai i20 Era Petrol, Hyundai i20 Magna, Hyundai i20 Sportz Option and Hyundai i20 Petrol Sportz which also includes some advanced features along with all the standard features.
Hyundai i20 price for petrol version starts from Rs. 4,59,205 and goes up to Rs. 7,59,754.
Hyundai i20 diesel variants are Hyundai i20 Asta (o) 1.4 CRDi (Diesel) , Hyundai i20 Asta 1.4 CRDi (Diesel) both the cars adorns same features of Petrol Asta variant but the only difference is the engine. The other variants are Hyundai i20 Era Diesel, Hyundai i20 Magna 1.4 CRDi (Diesel), Hyundai i20 Sportz Diesel and Hyundai i20 Sportz Option Diesel. The price for diesel version is tagged at Rs. 5,70,359 and reaches to an height of Rs. 7,34,540.
The car is available in 3 engine options that are 1.4 L Gamma AT Petrol, 1.2 L Kappa PL Petrol and 1.4 CRDI Diesel Engine. The 1.4 Litre, Gamma AT petrol produces a maximum power of 100 PS at 5500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9 kgm at 4200 rpm. While the 1.2Litre , In Line petrol engine generates a maximum power of 80 PS and a maximum torque of 11.4kgm. And the last option is 1.4L CRDI diesel engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 90 PS and a maximum torque of 22.4 kgm. The car offers a decent mileage of 15 Kmpl in city and 18 Kmpl on highways.
