The new car will have dynamic braking system with front and rear disc brakes
. It will have Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist to aid in abrupt braking situations. The Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) is expected to be incorporated in the new Hyundai Santa Fe which will automatically equalize the braking of the front and rear axles. For safety there are more features such as, three-point seatbelts and adjustable headstrains. The SUV launch will face some tough competitors in the Indian market such as Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva, Nissan X Trail, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Outlander. It will also be face to face with Skoda Yeti and Nissan Murano which are expected to hit the market by fall of 2010. It is the third time Hyundai is entering the SUV market. They have played in the Indian market by launching the Terracan and Hyundai Tuscon. As they discounted in India, the cars went for a global change as the Indian markets looks promising in the luxury SUV segment at 18 to 20 percent. The already popular cars such as Toyota Fortuner have cemented their place in the Indian Market. With the hopes to capture the potential market of SUV luxury cars, the all new Hyundai Santa Fe will hit the Indian terrain soon.
