Titles are very important for success at online marketing.
1. Make sure the title is unique but also draws the reader in.
2. From a blog post to an article post make sure each title hits the keyword you want it to.
3. Each Title should be a long tail keyword(s)
For example lets say you are advertising for an affiliate network such as Amazon. Specifically, writing about Ipods. Should you really title every article or blog post "Ipods" or should you add some words to it. Long tail keywords are easier to be successful at, especially if your writing an article.
Each article cannot be in the top 10 for a broad keyword. Therefore its important to add some words to the title in order to be successful. Such as great ipods for sale or need an ipod. You see how that works? Your article or blog post can potentially be in the top 10 for keywords such as these instead of just Ipods.
I'm pretty sure its rather impossible to rank for that keyword considering all of apples websites and attributing websites are in the top 10. Make sure your keyword(s) are competitive, but something you can crack.
Affiliate marketing is not easy, it takes time and dedication.
