Okay ....so why is there a plethora of dating sites out there that compare eye colour and whether they like the their fried eggs burst or not!.

Well I for one don't. What about us, and there is a good few of us that just want a quicky?.

I'm single, have been for 2 years now and like most girls out there trying to get back into the "scene" it is way too daunting. Things change, time, people change yada yada.

So why am I on here posting my woes?

So here/was my problem. I would really like to meet that special one. Settle down but I just don't want to. Not yet.

Whether it's too early or I should be having fun. When you're out of a long-term relationship you just want to connect again. You simply don't want to be setup by your friends and in walks either yeti or worse his little brother captain caveman.

Further investigation was needed and having the internet provided me with the answers from the luxury of my backside. I came across a site craigslist and delved into the personal ads there.

Woo! Every taste or fetish is catered for in there let me tell you, but let me give you one bit of advice. If it's the only bit of this you ever read and that is to be very very careful. I placed an ad and within 10 minutes I had over thirty replies.

Eh...so what's the problem?

I got the distinct feeling I was and I feel weird saying this but talking to robots?. You know ones that pretend to be human to get you to sign up for whatever they want. I'm not quite sure things said didn't add up anyway but some replies I got were just way too suggestive that just screamed scam in my humble opinion.

Did I find a solution?....Is there even one?.

After much searching over a weekend I came to at least one conclusion. Save yourself a major headache and opt for a paid membership. In my case I did. I was close to choosing eHarmony that is advertised on the TV. It looks pretty professional and perhaps when I'm ready to settle a bit I'll look them up.

but....but the ONE i did opt for was casual dating site . Its free to join but I have upgraded and hopefully I meet up with Terry this very weekend. Will keep you all posted. Maybe.
