IOSH Managing Safely - the course content delivered what was advertised

The new IOSH Managing Safely course was launched several years ago with a distinct need for new and lively health ands afety courses!!

. It is aimed at those at higher level management with a responsibility for health and safety within any organisation. Pretty much anybody can sit the course and there isnt a level of health ands afety that cant be catered for.

Its there to make a lighter read in terms of traditional health and safety courses. IOSH Managing Safely is a short 4-5 day affair always light humoured and relatively fun, or as fun as a safety course could be.

IOSH Managing Safely has been going for a few years now and I recently attended a conference fo those wishing to start delivering the course. What struck me firstly was the number of people in attendance, I'm not sure if this was more to do with the interest in IOSH courses or the fact that people had been made reducndant and were looking for something to do to fill their time with. A lot of one man bands were present. They invited a few existing trainers to give their viewpoint, this wasn't too useful as obviously they were censored in terms of what they could say. They actually didnt talk too much about the financial aspects of the course i.e. does it make money and the general price you need to pitch the courses at. It really just went on to re-iterate how good IOSH were and what great support they offered against other training bodies.

I love this course and what it stands for its quite simple.
