IPods Cause Deaths In Cars

A major safety conference has told today that more young drivers are dying on Britain's

roads today than fifteen years ago, and this is far more than stabbings and shootings.

The safety campaigners claim that the new laws over using devices when at the wheel, which came about in 2003, have done barely anything with young drivers, ad are mainly being ignored. With overall death rates falling in this time period, but the youth deaths increasing by sixteen percent, the trend is being buckled and people want to know why.

The answer is texting and changing IPods. Since taking on, mobile phones has been banned when operating a vehicle, texting and changing songs on our MP3 players still seems to be unnoticed by youngsters as a cause of death on the roads, despite some fairly well documented case where young people have been killed as pedestrians or cyclists by not even noticing oncoming vehicles, due to the music in their ears.

Critics argue that statistically old people cause more deaths on the roads than younger people, which s a pretty obvious comment when you think of how the body deteriorates as age sets in, and how the government have failed thus far to create an adequate retest to properly assess the driving skills of an OAP. But what is a clear point however is that when youngsters die at the wheel due to a loss of concentration, this is their own mistake rather than that of their deteriorating body.
