The ICC World Cup is going to kick off in 2011 in the Subcontinent. This major cricketing event will not just offer you the best of Cricket; but it will also reveal the culture, colors and secret charm of the Asian Cricket philosophy. This tenth event of the ICC World cup is hosted in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh where 14 national teams will compete for the world cup champion title from February, 2011. The Red and Blue are prominent on left and right respectively. Red color reflects the feel of spirit and love; where blue symbolizes harmony and promoting connections among people.

The overall logo is representing one day cricket ball; in which green seam is pointing towards the pitch and ground. The crowd in the surrounding portrays ultimate action; for which Cricket is well known of. The three color theme of logo also says about the different nations coming together to host this big event for the pride of Cricket. The overall feel of colors and movement forms a festival, where players representing their nations and people from all over the world are joining hands to celebrate Cricket in the Sub continent region. Not only the world could witness the class of cricket in upcoming event but also the colors of cultures induced in love and harmony are going to be exposed.

The logo design is done by an Australian creative firm "Witekite" which is one of the 12 companies around the world which have submitted their concepts to ICC. This logo was revealed on 14th, July this year in Mumbai, India. The logo with its overall concept and feel is very appealing; exactly communicating the buzz of this massive sports event. And it also looks good on grey scale. The fonts used are quite simple and gives a funky feel. Overall, the eastern cultural touch is also visible in this lovely logo design. In short, it has all the ingredients to spice up the branding activities of ICC World Cup 2011.
