Spa dates are becoming increasingly popular, especially because planning a wedding is so consuming and stressful. Planning a day for the bride to get a facial, massage, or body wrap will definitely go over well. Help her focus on fun by telling goofy jokes or sharing stories or get her prepared to relax by looking up meditation exercises before your appointment at the spa.

To try something fresh and funky, do some research on group dance classes in your area. For an exotic flavor, try salsa dancing or even belly dancing. But to get even more edgy, you can find companies that offer introductions to burlesque or pole dancing.

This will bring out every girl's inner diva while allowing you to have fun and goof off without the risk that sometimes come with bringing on male attention at a club or bar. Plus, it will give your friend, the bride-to-be, a few tricks to test on the honeymoon, which she will certainly appreciate.

If you're operating on a tight budget, go for a good, old-fashioned gal pals sleepover. This can actually be quite a relief for the bride-to-be, as it feels reminiscent of school days when things were a little less complicated. That's what my friends did for me, and it was quite blissful.
