Ideas For Fourth Of July Layouts
The Fourth of July is a widely celebrated holiday usually ending with beautiful fireworks and cheering kids
. Some people travel, some stay home. Families cook delicious foods and everyone joins in the festivities.
No matter what tradition you have you will probably want to remember it for years to come. If that is the case you might want to consider scrapbooking. If you are looking for ideas on how to do scrapbook pages for this holiday then you might be interested in these ideas.
* Fireworks: Usually no matter where you go to celebrate this year, you will see fireworks. Big ones, small ones, colorful or sparkling ones, they are shooting up in the sky every year.
They also make for a great idea when it comes to scrapbooking. Using a glue pen to draw out a big exploding firework, instantly adds to that Fourth of July look. Once you draw it out in glue, sprinkle different colors of glitter on top. Shake of the remaining glitter and you have one festive looking page. Draw out different sizes and sprinkle with glitter all over your page to really maximize this look.
You can also use sequins of different colors to create your firework. Glue your sequins how you wish for them to be arranged, to create a vibrant, unique firework. No matter how you decide to do this it is going to be a wonderful page in your scrapbook.
* Stars: When it comes to decorations for the fourth, this is a big one! There are many different ways that you could go on this.
While there are usually embellishments and pages readily available to purchase, you could also make you own.
You can cut out different sizes of stars and place them on your page how you would like them. Glue different patterns of red white and blue around your stars to make them your own. The more creative you get the more likely you are to end up with something you truly enjoy.
Another idea is to cut out many miniature stars, or use some premade, and place them all the way around your photos as a border. Either way your page is sure to look amazing.
* Stripes: Stripes are my personal favorite as they are easy and fun! A great idea for this is to place three stripes around a dark blue page as a border. As you place your photos use the same idea to border them. It will tie your photos in with the page and it looks great! You can also type your headings up and place them on striped paper to go with the rest of the page.
* Maps: The fourth of July was a great day in history, and when I think of history, I think of maps. This is a good way to make your scrapbook pages unique and fun! A great idea for this is to use a map as a background.
Use your stars and stripes, fireworks to finish decorating the page. You could also pin point on the map where you celebrated that year. This idea is especially fun and different then most Fourth of July themes.
