This article is about playing Starcraft II, no matter who you are. Everywhere I go, people always ask me about winning in Starcraft. I am always surprised by the shear quantity of questions I receive about it all. I did not think that video gaming was that big of a deal but apparently it is. Who would have known that I would be featured at this year's Comicon convention in Vegas and go on to win an achievement award to boot. At times it's difficult to not let all this attention inflate your ego but I try to ignore it and just keep doing what I do.

Curiosity usually gets the best of people and many want to know about how I began. I usually sit back, smile, and send them the latest PC World available. If you have not thumbed through each page of PC World, then you need to wait longer before you win. However, starting these days has become as a much simpler process than it was for me. Back in my day you had to go to the store and spend 3 hours installing the game before you could even take a crack at it. These days, everything you ever wanted to know about Starcraft and Video Games is just a click away.

Frankly, today's gamers are just not the same because they lack the dedication we had. Information overload is a real threat for you newbies. You are always looking for an easy or fast way to attain greatness. The following are the three questions that seem to come up every time:

-Where should I shop for video games?

-What is the best book about Starcraft Strategy?

-What can I do to manage your units better?

Take it from a pro who has been around the block many times. becoming an expert Starcraft player has nothing to do with how good of a Starcraft expert you are on the first or second time through it. It's more about really just diving into the material and discovering something new each time around. Most people who try to efficiently manage my armies fail their first time, and so did I. The good folks who got me involved in the first place immediately regretted their decision. I was simply too curious, asking too many questions, learning everything I could. Can you see how that could get annoying? My development came to a standstill early on but I had a eureka moment that changed everything for me when I began to avoid Gamer's Digest and IGN and instead started focusing on Gaming Magazine which was really the key to my success. I started reading more and more about how to use a Starcraft guide, stopped focusing on the glitz and glamour and instead turned my attention to practice efficient unit management with my God given tools and talents.

Practically overnight, I saw my fear of launching an attack disappear, and I started seeing the results that I wanted to see. Sometimes I am asked if you need to have a special gift to pown newbs or if you can just pick up a book and learn about Starcraft Strategy. I always say that knowledge is only 35% of the uphill battle. 65 is just getting the client to trust their instincts and give it 110% so they can start seeing some results. And if you lose, remember you could have always get powned worse, so hold your head up high and know that you're on track to become a world class Starcraft Player.
