Sheilas'Wheels insurance company in Britain has made a study to find out how many miles are drivers traveling further, if they refuse to seek instructions and they choose the directions based either on instinct or luck to find the find the destination.

Findings were surprising and confirmed anecdotes about men who never ask directions. It appears that drivers stubbornness may take even one and a half hour without asking for instructions for 25 percent of men in Britain who responded to the survey.

Moreover, one in ten drivers refuse the idea of stopping to ask for instructions instead of going further. Three quarters of drivers require instructions when they get lost, every time. In one human life, the difference between asking for instructions and going on pretending that you know the road is on average of 440 km per year.

At today's price of fuel, drivers that do not stop to ask for instructions spend 3100 dollars more on fuel than drivers who stopped to ask where is the place they are searching for.Another shocking statistic showed that 41 percent of male drivers surveyed admitted that argue when saying they know exactly where they are going though have no idea which route to follow. Only 26 percent of women surveyed admitted that they also often counterproductive. The current situation in Britain is worse than in other countries that have a complex infrastructure or lack of road signs clear.

So, the best way to save some money, if you are driving a lot, is to ask for direction when you think you are lost. This also saves you time, that means money. So it is a win-win situation, all you have to do is seek for the right way.
