There are thousands of historic monuments which give the tourist a vivid view of the civilizations which prevailed in Spain. There are parks where the tourist can relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the vast greenery around. Garaonay National Park:

Located in the Canary Island, the park extends to an area of about 2986 hectares. Laurisilva and laurel forest and many other types of vegetation are grown here. There are many other types of fossils and other fauna grown here. Experts say that as many as 150 different types of Fauna can be found in this Garaonay National Park. The national park receives abundant rainfall and as a result the place down stream is full of vegetation encouraging agriculture. Some mountains are abutting this park. The peak is about 1500 meters tall. The ridges, Roques can be found at many places. The mountain is said to have been formed as a result of volcanic eruption. The national park is also the home for many rare species of birds and other wild animals.

Tablas de Daimiel National Park:

This Park located in Ciudad province covers an area of about 1928 hectares. This is actually a marshland with several small islets. It is rich in aqua life. The place near the park is rich in vegetation and it is an ideal place for walking, etc. In fact walking paths have been provided for the benefit of tourists. This park has been declared as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. The land is saline and in this soil condition, the only vegetation that survives is tamarisk which is actually a shrub. Some of the wild animals found here are wild boars, rabbit, fox, polecat, etc. There are also many other places of interest for the tourist. The place is blessed with natural beauty. Sports facilities available include fishing, cycling, etc. It is the home for several rare species of birds. Since the recent past, the number of tourists visiting Daimiel National park has increased. Many forest resorts have come up in the park. These resorts are fully equipped and make the tourist feel comfortable.
