Impressive Medical Transcriptionist Training
I am 55 years old and currently unemployed
I am 55 years old and currently unemployed. I have worked for the past 25+ years in the title insurance industry. After the recent "bubble burst" in the real estate market and loss of business and clientele, I was laid off. After much contemplation and research, I have determined that I need to learn a new trade. Preferably in a field I can learn fairly quickly, grow in, work from home, and be my own boss. I want to learn a trade that will be a viable commodity in the future, one that will fit in with "where this country is going" and proposes a positive future. I've seen the statistics on the growth of the industry and the 14% increase of job availability in the Medical Transcription field, which sounds very positive and compelling.
Since I have years of office experience and a good understanding of the English language; including proper grammar, pronunciation, and spelling. I am hoping that this would be of use in learning the Medical Transcription field. I have always had an interest in medicine, treatments and the human body, so would look forward to studies that would expand on those interests. I have looked into a number of online medical transcription courses, some are very expensive, and some are very time consuming. Being my age, and still having to support myself, I don't have a lot of time to waste. I found your site and was very impressed with FutureMT's course offerings. Youre no nonsense and to the point introduction, explaining that this course was a quick yet informative way to get the novice introduced to the field is very appealing. SN:0TG9Y2ESY
I understand that one can go into a lot more depth in studies related to this field, but I need something that I can use and apply fairly fast. The CD Rom and Foot Petal combination, giving "hands on" type of training should be very effective, and I love idea that you have live mentoring, so I could talk to a person with questions or concerns. It is also appealing that you help your graduates in obtaining work. When a person is engaging in a whole new career, any help or assistance would be greatly welcomed. If I am able to secure the medical transcriptionist training, and am able to get back on my feet financially, I would love to continue my education and further my knowledge by adding some courses in coding and billing. I see a very bright future in the Medical Transcription field, even for a late bloomer like myself. I also really like the idea of a production-based business. The harder you work the more you make. I've always been a hard worker, giving all of myself to a project, contributing countless hours of my time, and feel it's time to do something for myself now.
