So here we are, in the middle of a soccer game for first graders

, equipped with our cameras, lenses, flash, batteries and the rest of the rig. The whole event will probably last two hours and we have to capture as many good shots as possible and, most important of all: engage the proud parents to purchase the photos before they head back home!

Of course there are many ways to operate under these circumstances. One way would be to shoot in location, print back at the office and then take the proofs to the school some other day for the parents to choose the ones they like. This obviously involves a lot of time and effort before the customer eventually commits to purchasing your work. We can also shoot then download the images to a Laptop connected to the photo printer and have the photos printed during the event. Not bad, but there's still a better, faster way of doing it: using a wireless photo transmitter and a wireless printer.
