The increasing passion for super bikes in India could be seen with the fact that some of the famous personalities are in queue to become their owners. The super bikes like those from Suzuki, Harley Davidson, BMW, Honda and many more have become charm of Indian roads these days. The basic reason for such an increasing passion day by day is the power and style attached to these. The super bikes are known for their high performance with great speed and this is what fascinates the people. Obviously the charming bikes could be occupied by the rich ones of the country, who are even ready to pay heavy duties to grab their favourites. Also the youngsters of the country are going crazy for these speedy bikes with loads of style and glamour accompanied to them. The chairman and manging director of Sai Infosystems, Sunil Kakkad, few years back buying a Suzuki Hayabusa with 1300 cc displacement fulfilled his childhood dream of owning a superbike. He is passionate about speed and looks of these bikes and bought his favourite with a price tag of Rs. 14 lakh. Kakkad says, "The machine inspires me to achieve higher results in short time for my company." Many others like Vikram Bhalla, Inder Sharma who are also the CEOs of famous enterprises pursue love for these speedy bikes. With this growing love for bikes among the Indians, also the superbike companies are to expand themselves so as to increase their sales. With this in mind, Harley davidson reaches India and is also to start assembling of the bikes in India itself so that the customers do not have to wait long and could buy the bikes cheaper comparatively. Press Release : Sanjay Tripathi, marketing director, Harley-Davidson India said, "We expect to sell close to 250 bikes in the first six months itself in India. The companies share that the demand is mainly from first-gen entrepreneurs, top executives, stars, consultants and real estate developers. Power dressing is giving way to power biking".
