HTC recently revealed the launch of two new phones belonging to the social networking segment, which is certainly a segment that has grown significantly in the last few years after the incredible success of Facebook and Twitter. The social networking is something that is uncontrollable nowadays. The best way to deal with the rise in prominence of the social networking will be to go along with the current and it seems that HTC have also realised that this is the right way to go. The HTC Chacha will be the phone that will be launched this phone of the first Facebook phones from HTC.

It is a totally complete phone because it would be having a touch screen display and the full QWERTY keyboard, a combination that is not seen much in the smartphones of today. Due to the usage of the resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, the HTC Chacha has been able to give excellent image quality that is certainly comparable with many high end phones of today. One of the reasons for this is due to the presence of a screen that is small in size when compared with the high-end phones, which will be featuring touch screen displays measuring around 4 inches in size. The full QWERTY keyboard that is used in the HTC Chacha is one of the best from QWERTY keyboards in this segment. It could be due to the ample amount of space that HTC has provided between the keys. Also, in addition to the full QWERTY keyboard, the phone will also be coming with a hotkey to access the Facebook application pretty quickly.

It is one of them main features of the phone that will be helping it to distinguish itself from other smart phones in this segment. However, it will be similar to the other smart phones in the segment in other departments due to the presence of the five megapixel camera. It is a camera that is going to offer excellent imaging capabilities within this budget smartphone. It will be coming with the operating system that will be the 2.4 version of Android, which has not been released by Android so far. It is expected to be available for the mobile phones of today from the summer onwards. This operating system is expected to be running the applications using the 600 MHz processor. This processor might seem extremely dull when compared with the dual core 1 GHz processing units, but the savings that this processor achieves in the battery will be more than offsetting the disadvantage of the small processor. HTC recently announced that it will be launching the HTC Chacha in Britain from summer onwards.

Even though the official pricing has not been revealed by the company, it is not expected to cost a lot of money especially given that most of the features are similar to the mid-range smartphone.
