Independent Furniture Stores Toronto

Some years back, most furniture shoppers were the second type

. There were much more independently owned Furniture Stores Toronto before this recession. That has since changed since the recession. I know, technically a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, but everything else is telling us that we are in the midst of a recession. Just take a look at the furniture industry, for example. It's astonishing how many Toronto Furniture Stores are going out of business and running their out of business sales events. This is true for both, the big chains and the independent stores, to some extent. I've seen much more independents go out than the chain stores especially in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area. The smaller, independent Toronto Furniture stores simply don't have the purchasing power or advertising budget of their counterparts. They simply can't cope anymore.

When you walk into one of these Furniture Stores Toronto most times it's not that pleasurable of an experience. As soon as you walk in, there they are. Under the glare of spotlights, the furniture sales reps are lurking for their next victim. The best analogy I can muster is this: ever seen on Discovery Channel a group of lions surround an antelope and about to go for the kill? First, these reps introduce themselves and then the uncomfortable stalking begins. Every move you make, they're right behind you. Every section of the store that you venture in, they'll be about ten feet away from you. Sometimes you're just looking around to get ideas and you're not ready to make a purchase that day. Regardless, there they are. It's very uncomfortable knowing that someone is staring at you for every move that you make. If this doesn't make your shopping experience particularly unpleasant then I don't know what does. These Toronto Furniture Stores train their reps to do this since most of the time they work on 100% commission. Then when you're ready to buy, they become aggressive. In the end, you are just another number to them.
