No sale of undeveloped plots by a foreigner investor is allowed in India. They will have to seek the completion certificate from a local body before finalizing any type of sale.

No repatriation is allowed before three years from of the project.

Approvals of the Foreign Investment and Promotion Board are required for any type of sale or purchase activity.

In any city, the location of property is the most important consideration before finalizing any deal. The companies seeking spaces for their office use mostly look for a location that is well connected with the other parts of the city and have easy access with public transportation. The office must not be located at a distant place and the area where it is located should be commercial or corporate in other words.

The prices of the residential spaces depends on how posh it is and what is the condition of the basic necessities like water, electricity, drainage, etc.!

The metropolitan cities are well connected internally with roads, flyovers and in cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Kolkata, excellent connectivity is offered by metro trains, which helps in avoiding road traffic very efficiently. With the growth of metro in Delhi, there has also been an increased demand in the real estate prices of the commercial and residential spaces. Metro has definitely shortened the distances, and the colonies which are near to the metro stations have drastically increased their prices in a very short time.
