Taj Mahal

Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. He dedicated this eternal monument of love to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. This white marbled jewel of India is situated on the bank of river Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

Agra Fort

Agra Fort, as the name indicates is located in Agra, about 2.5 kms away from the Taj Mahal in the northwest direction. Constructed on 94 acre land and having about seventy feet high walls, this fort can be considered as a walled city. It was the most gigantic fort at the time of Mughals. Four gates are there opening to the four sides of the fort.

Fatehpur Sikri

This historical city was planned by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. This city was the capital of Mughals. In the city, Surviving Palace and mosque are famous tourist attractions.

Khajuraho

Khajuraho is famous for the erotic sculptures depicting the architectural geniuses of those ancient times. These temples are present in the state Madhya Pradesh. These temples are different from all other temples present in India as these temples are not for the worshipping of any God, rather these temples oozes eroticism, passion, dance and music. The architecture of these sculptures is worth seeing.

Ajanta and Ellora

Ajanta and Ellora are famous for the cave temples discovered by a British Army Officer, John Smith in 1819. The caves were designed for Buddhist Monks who preached for Buddhist religion. These caves are located about 30 kms away from Aurangabad. These are 34 in number. The specialty of these caves is that they are carved in the hill only. These caves depict the three religions, Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Out of 34 caves, 17 are dedicated to Hinduism, 12 to Buddhist and remaining 5 to Jainism.

Kerala

Kerala is a state in India known as God's own country. A beautiful state created on 1st November 1956. Having an area of 38863 sq km, it is bordered by Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep Sea. Kerala is famous among tourists for its Tropical Greenery, Backwaters, Spa and Ayurvedic treatments.
