Indicator Review - The Daytradetowin.com Atlas Line

While checking out various online day trading forums

, I came across mixed statements regarding DayTradeToWins Atlas Line indicator. To set the record straight, I contacted John Paul, owner and author of DayTradeToWin and the Atlas Line. He agreed to let me perform analysis on the Atlas Line under a trial period.

John Paul offers Atlas Line customers a free lesson via webinar on how to use the Atlas Line effectively. I attended this quick course shortly after receiving the software. When using the Line, John mentioned to main points to remember:

-Use short trades if price falls below the Line

-Use long trades if price is above the Line

Installing the software into NinjaTrader was quick and easy there were virtually no options to configure, although the line can easily be toggled on and off. The Line was visible, easy to interpret and had a fixed plot within each tested market the angle of the line differed in each but was static in direction. I confirmed that the Atlas Line does indeed function correctly with all the markets advertised, including my preferred markets, the E-Mini S&P, Crude Light, Euro and Canadian Dollar.

Using NinjaTraders simulation mode with a Zen-Fire data feed, I tested my preferred markets for a half hour each on Monday, June 14 2010. The Atlas Line instantly began plotting, providing precise orders of when to enter long or short. Although I am not entirely familiar with the concept of price action trading, I found this method combined with the indicator to be effective in all of the markets I tested. Although I was not using real money, the Atlas Line provided enough direction to allow my trades to stay on the side of profit, earning a couple of points in each market during the testing period.

Bottom Line

Ease of Use: 10/10 it cant be any easier with one line and two simple rules

Accuracy: 9/10 highly consistent in all tested markets, no inherent lagging effect or mixed signals.

Price / Support: 9/10 John Paul quickly responded to any questions I had in the webinar. Affordability is subjective, but the software should quickly pay for itself if youre trading enough contracts. DayTradeToWin offers a lifetime and six-month license.

With my Atlas Line trial period expiring soon, I plan to purchase the software for my bag of day trading tricks. As with any trading system, indicator or method, it is best to adapt your own market observations with the methodologies presented by external sources such as the Atlas Line indicator.
