South Kensington is a wealthy neighborhood is less expensive and somewhat livelier than adjacent neighborhoods as a result of the tourists and students. The reception area of this hotel is chandeliered and glittery. The hotel has 38 suite rooms, many with bathtubs. The rooms have matching curtains and bedspreads in gold and purple. They have standard issue furniture and the beds are mad of tan pressboard with bedside tables to match. The bathrooms have standalone showers, tiled floors, and marble sinks.

The hotel is located close to Earls Court, which a very quiet area. This area is in the center of town but only has light tourist traffic. The clientele of the hotel are truly international, with leisure and corporate leisure travelers. The Abcone hotel is inexpensive and is a great place to stay, especially for visitors to London want to stay away from the center of the action. Although a continental breakfast is included the English breakfast is extra. Wi Fi is also extra.

Easy Hotel

The Easy Hotel has 34 private rooms in a gorgeous mansion that is located between the Earls Court and Gloucester Tube stations. In this hotel only the basics are covered and extras cost additional money. The only toiletries are soap and it also costs extra to use the TV. Booking may only be done on the Internet on the Easy Hotel website. The color scheme throughout the hotel is basically bright orange. The bathrooms are small and have orange sinks and floors. However, the bedroom walls only have a strip of orange. But, everything is subdued or even subtle. The rooms in the hotel only offer minimum accoutrements. They have pay per view TV, lighting, and a duvet covered bed and not much else. The bathrooms are completely unadorned and prefab. The reception area is open 24 hours and has a vending machine. Breakfast is not included.

Meininger

This is a German hotel that is very inexpensive and very clean. The rooms have minimal furnishings and are basic. They have blonde furniture is blonde. The rooms are air conditioned and have Wi Fi and TVs. The bathrooms are small and don't have potable water from the faucet. A buffet style breakfast is included in the nightly rate. The Meininger hotel has meeting rooms and offices available and is decorated with posters. Although the rates are somewhat higher than the least expensive hotel in the South Kensington area, the hotel is a great selection for guests who want a clean basic room with some perks.
