Another treatment option, or as an adjunct treatment to the prescribed medication, is the change in the dietary intake of your pet dogs.
A change in diet means eliminating those that can trigger the infection. Dietary changes can also prevent the further occurrence of other types of skin infection in the future. You can collaborate with your vet so you can come up with a new and healthier diet plan for your dog. Whatever treatment option your vet may prescribe, you should make it a point to follow it properly. This is because if you leave the disease untreated, your dog may suffer tremendously as the infection progresses. You should also keep in mind that complete cure for skin infection in your pet dogs will not come in a few hours or days. Usually, it will take a few weeks or even years depending on how your dog will respond to the treatment.
