Early spring is the ideal time to plant the vines. Try not to plant them during fall as the ensuing cold may kill them.

The first step is to prepare the soil and thereafter plant the grapevines. You should add fertilizer to the ground and ensure that the ground is kept free of weeds. Check regularly for disease or insects. Prune the dead or broken sections as well as the roots.
