rest on the base and reporting the angle and the direction of the device it is controlling. It is known that joystick is alsoused for controlling video games carrying many push-buttons which can be read by computer. There are several kinds of joystick available in the market and the most famous joystick is analog stick which is havnig the usage on modern video game consoles. In aircraft's joystick act as the main flight controller in the cockpit especially in military fast jet in which centre stick and side stick location may be used. Users of joystick should know that it is used basically in controlling the machines like cranes, trucks, underwater unmanned vehicles along with zero turning radius lawn mowers. In mobile industry also joystick plays an important role such as it is used as miniature finger-operated joysticks in smaller electronic devices. Also one will find that joystick is used in the controlling the aircraft's ailerons and elevators.

The word joystick was takenout by french pilot Robert Esnault-Pelterie in the late 20th century. The first name of joystick is george stick after which this name became famous in the market.
