. The company listened to the consumers, and did a delightful job creating a machine with many desired features. Some of these include wireless scanning, scanning duplexes from the feeder and excellent print quality.

Like any other electronics, they have its own cons. Consumers are dissatisfied on the initial set up of mx860, since the manual are either on disc or on line.

However, the most concern area of users are the ink. It's easy to consume and be drained.

Cannon as well as many other companies make their money in ink. The printer was designed to use all newly configured ink cartridges. The cartridges used on it are slightly smaller than the previous cartridges produced, which may lead consumers to feel that they are being installed more frequently.

You will know that you already installed the cartridges properly once the LED indicator light's up. It's cartridge has two black tanks and the usual three color tanks. Though you're printing in a gray-scale, it still uses color ink when printing black and white.

Many report that the cost per page exceeds that of printing other places and suggest that for large projects, it would be more economical to outsource the printing. This is one of the most major concerns with this printer.

On the other hand, the print quality is excellent. It's like you're using a laser printer because of the print quality outcome. It has a duplex feature which allows two side printing. You need to let the other part dry first before continuing on the other side to avoid spreading of ink.

Although some reviews had concerns about the Cannon pixma mx860 high ink consumption, the very reasonable price of the printer and all of the wonderful features that it comes with, makes it a great buy for your all in one wireless printing needs.
