The Giant 's Causeway is something you must see when in Ireland. A UNESCO heritage site, it is an area of forty thousand interlocking basal columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption, and is thought to be the fourth greatest natural wonder of the United Kingdom. It's an area of natural beauty, and should be seen on any visit. Legend has it that the causeway was formed by fighting giants, so the giants boot, a large rock in the shape of a shoe, must be seen.
