. This is a great way to do it as long as you don't mind spending $40 or more for them to come into your place and spend ten minutes to install something you could easily do on your own.
Before you start turn off the power to the switch. You will have the ability to do this at the power circuit or the fuse box. When that is finished you will have to remove the cover plate over the existing switch.
Now remove the screws securing the light switch into the wall box. Carefully take out the switch by pulling on the tabs that are on the top and bottom of it. Use a voltage tester to test both of the lines connected to the unit. This will tell you if you were successful at turning the power off.
Loose the screw on both sides of the wire. Twist it up from the unit and undo the screw on the bottom. Bend it downwards from the unit and loosen the screw securing the ground wire. Now throw away the old switch.
Loosen each of the screws that are on the new unit and twine the ground wire around the screw and secure it. If the wires are in good condition than you will be able to twine them round the bottom wire and screw and tighten them.
Now twist electrical tape round the new light switch. Be sure that the terminals have been wrapped so the ground wires do not touch the them. Gently push the wires back into the wall box and secure the mounting screws. Screw in the cover plate and turn the power back on.
