One of the key maintenance items in owning one of these shelters is polyethylene maintenance. It is important to keep the fabric free of debris and moisture. Sharp objects such as tree limbs can speed up the deterioration process. On occasion, washing the cover would prolong long.

Another important maintenance item is keeping the garage cover tight. Loose covers can cause moisture buildup and reduce the life of the material.
