Many manufacturers weld components together for a strong bond to prevent "shift". Many frames use mechanisms to improve rigidity at joints such as blocks or connectors. Most garage framework styles are either round or house style. The round style shelters are typically better for "snow roll off". It is important to keep moisture from "building up" on the top of the structure. Moisture build-up reduces cover life. If a consumer resides in an area with heavy snow fall, it is necessary to consider a round style garage. House style garages typically provide for better interior space. House style garages are more beneficial in areas of warm climate.

Last but not least, it is necessary to consider the corrosion resistance of the frame. Galvanized steel tubing resists rust better than powder coated frames, however, galvanized typically costs more. Galvanized tubing is basically similar to the chain link fences which are used in the fencing industry. Corrosion can weaken the frame, resulting in inferior support. Instant garages can provide for lasting durability however choosing a quality product is important in protecting your personal investments.
